Review by hotel critic
Staying at Almhof Rupp was a refreshing retreat amidst my exploration of modern German architecture. Nestled in Riezlern, it's perfectly positioned for ski enthusiasts, just a short stroll from the main lifts. The rooms are light-filled and spacious, featuring cozy balconies that invite in the stunning mountain views. The wellness area caught my attention, boasting a heated indoor pool and sauna, ideal for unwinding after a day on the slopes. Although the spa area felt a touch intimate when the hotel was busy, the Turkish steam room provided a tranquil escape. I particularly enjoyed the body scrub and massage treatments, which left me feeling rejuvenated. Dining was a highlight too, with a good quality breakfast buffet that catered well to skiers. The afternoons offered small snacks, perfect for refueling after a long ski session. The hotel's cozy restaurant, with its central fireplace, added to the atmosphere nicely. Almhof Rupp made for a restful getaway with splendid architecture and serene surroundings; certainly worth considering for anyone seeking balance during their winter holidays. I'd recommend giving it a try!
